Words have been a passion of mine since I had my first rainbow sparkle notebook with matching pen.

With more than thirty years as a professional writer (including copywriting, screenwriting, journalism, educational content, and marketing material), over a decade as an editor at a Canadian university, an ESL teacher, a newspaper publisher, a voiceover artist and a Mom of two daughters who loved me to tell them stories ‘from my mouth’ — I've spent most of my life surrounded by words.

When I entered my fifties, life and loss brought thoughts of mortality closer to the surface of my attention. I retired from my university career and leapt fully into entrepreneurialism. And there, with the creative partnership of my friend, Diane Brennan — and our common obsession with all things skincare — we started our podcast, The Devil Wears SPF.
